I’ve been working for the past six months on a brand new radio channel. Not only the launch of something new but the launch of something different.
Reach 365 is designed for all of Openreach’s employees across the UK. The tech behind it is astounding, enabling the channel to be heard by everyone no matter whether they work in an office in London or from a van in the far north of Scotland.
My part has been constructing a channel that is primarily a good listen but also one that is totally unique. The presenters can’t believe the encouragement they’re given to get creative, to actually entertain the audience and they love the music which is unlike anything else in the UK. Totally targeted radio in both content and technology. It’s been fun.
