A thought for radio people ahead of RAJAR…

The new RAJAR figures are due to radio stations next week. It was always a nervous time for me and others. For commercial stations their financial future is at stake. For all radio people the RAJAR figures can affect your career prospects, the money you earn, even the time of day you work.

They’re compiled by researchers going out all over the UK and speaking to people. Then the results are ratified, weighted and published.

What could possibly go wrong?

(It’s worth pointing our RAJAR is more like the exit poll in that it measures what has happened rather than tries to predict a result and the exit poll was very accurate)
